The United $tates of Absurdity does not a monopoly on dipshits in power. Look at Darriea Turley of Broken Hill and her comparison of the Covid-19 pandemic with genocide: [abc.net.au] She needs lessons in learning to think (always assuming that she has a brain to begin with).
Are you by any chance slinging mulloch at our beloved (LOL) Mayor Diarrhoea Turdley?
If so, PLEASE feel most welcome to keep it up.
As to the "Genocide" in Wilcannia, the media seems to have conveniently FORGOTTEN to REPORT that the Funeral of a member of a certain Indigenous Clan, surname beginning with a "B" was the root cause of the outbreak in a region that had remained COVID Free and Safe since the first days of the Pandemic.
An Indigenous Inmate from the Prison at Bathurst was released on parole approx. 7 days BEFORE the Wilcannia Funeral was held, he traveled to Brewarrina where he, presumably infected several other locals BEFORE attending the Funeral.
Broken Hill got its share of infections WHEN a Health Worker, Indigenous person btw, at the Local Indigenous Health Service, Maari Ma, attend both the Funeral AND the 2 extremely large Wake type Parties post-funeral, then returned to Broken Hill on the Sunday, went to work on the Monday ansd started leaving a trail of infected behind her.
Oh, and MAY be of interest here BUT the State Government sent approx. 20 + New/Near NEW Mobile Homes to Wilcannia about 2 weeks ago SOLELY for Housing and Isolating the Indigenous Peoples there.
Last weekend, 2 of these rather expensive Mobile homes were Hot-wired by those living in them, taken for Joy-rides into the surrounding outback scrub areas, one was then set alight and burnt out, the other was found stripped to almost the chassis and has been declared as a write-off insurance wise.
If that, imo, is how the Indigenous around here treat the generosity of the Peoples of New South Wales via the Government then there is a WHOLE lot left to be desired.
I agree with Darriea Turley.
Another word applicable that I've used for many years now is senicide.
I do not particularly consider local mayor's to"be in power". Parochially powerful?- yes. Egocentric?- yes. Big fishes in little ponds?-yes.
State & federal politicians : egocentric?-yes. Party whip slaves? - yes. Big business slaves? - yes.
