The US has laws eg Leahy Law, that forbids arming and supporting any military merely accused of war crimes/ crimes against humanity. Australia has similar laws or has signed off on international law. Ignorance of the law is no excuse, especially for politicians.

Our Navy should have nothing to do with this besides boycott a genocidal state military. Seems NATO needs us to hold their hand too yet I fail to see how NATO expansion/ Russian resistance to NATO expansion has anything to do with us at all.
