A couple of very cooperative barred owls that I encountered yesterday in Weiser State Forest.

A few birds seen near in swamps my place in Songkhla, Thailand. 1.Yellow bittern hunting fish in a swamp 2.Painted stork fledglings getting fed at nesting cliff 3.Common moorhen chick 4.Ruddy-breasted crake 5.Male yellow-bellied prinia

Duck surgery. This young Mallard is thought to have been injured by a snapping turtle. One of the vets I work with volunteered to remove the dead toe and clean up the necrotic tissue and the duck is doing great at a local rehab facility.
