Hi everyone! I'm a big fan of birds. I have a Fischers African lovebird that allows me to live with him. (I rescued him from an aviary). He's shy, but loves his scritches. I also enjoy birding and am lucky enough to live in the wilds of Maine.

It has been 26 days since I put 12 Royal Palm turkey eggs in my incubator, and 19 days since I added 20 chicken eggs. I unplugged the turner, laid the eggs flat, added some extra water for humidity, and now I wait. One chick has started pipping, ...

Today, I visited Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area to see the huge flocks of snow geese and tundra swans. Unfortunately, it started to snow as soon as I arrived. I saw THOUSANDS of birds but I wasn't able to very clear photos.

This fellow was running up and down the fence line trying to figure out how to get through. (The fence belongs to a deer farm, so it's probably 10' high box wire.) His buddy had made it over and had run off into a field, but this guy wasn't figuring...
