Finally finished this commision piece. It is a 2 inch piece of serephinite. It comes from Russia and has amazing chatoyance properties, like tigers eye but not banded. I looks more like moss.

Easter Egg Dyed Wool This year, the wool is Cormo, very fine, and the dye stuff is cheap, drugstore kind. Mixed with water and vinegar, it dyed eight eggs and a handful of roving. As soon as can find another empty bobbin, I will spin up the roving...

I'm a knitter and I like small projects. I have 3 sweaters and it can go years between even wearing one of them. Socks, hats, mittens. There's always a small challenge in remembering how to turn the heel or make the thumb.

I am thinking of making a green tea soap. Made with Green Tea, Green french Clay and a standard soap mix. But I am waffling between using Avocado Oil or using Coco butter. Any suggestions?
