Confirmed coronavirus cases in the US surpass one million
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the United States rocketed past one million over the weekend, with more than 100,000 cases detected in the past three days. The most new cases were recorded in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Illinois, Pennsylvania, California, Maryland and Texas. The tally of the dead also grew to new heights of 56,000. Deaths from COVID-19 in the US are continuing to rise by an average of 2,000 each day.
Cuomo and De Blasio are the reason why it was so bad in NY. They both waited too long to shut things down. De Blasio was telling people to go about their business and kept schools open, and Cuomo cut $400m in Medicaid to hospitals all over the city. People who are praising them are really ignorant of what went on.
Odd how you and Cutiebeauty see things so differently.
I say very good. We need to let this pandemic sink in really deep.
May have noticed I've been avoiding things lately. Good article, confirms what I believed from the start, our government failed. Just look at New Zealand or Australia, doing much better at containment.
NYC is doing better... Thanks to governor Cuomo and mayor Deblasio ...
