Basically we're getting the same bottom line we get from most philanthropy initiatives. Where a vast amount of the money is funneled around to corporations, crony's, politicians, and groups. Often paramilitary groups and or private contractors. And the society they happen to be working in at the moment really get very little help in which more harm is essentially done. Can I get a Haiti?
In this case, the money is really coming off the backs of the workers in the medical field and by what we are charged. We take the hit out of our pockets and the healthcare workers in wages and exploitation at the workplace.
You wouldn't know this from the glorification of certain people, groups, and foundations by our MSCM though.
