In the UK, part of the health campaign says:'Save the NHS', primarily because it has become so underfunded it cannot cope with pandemics. The purpose of having a health system is to protect people, not the organisation.
It goes to show that saving money and protecting the economy, by default that also means the rich cats and the powerful, has become more important than saving lives. Why do people just accept this, rather than demand that society becomes fairer?
This pandemic is the time to have a shorter working week, so that people can enjoy life, free education for all ages, so thst people can learn for the sake and joy of it, and business should be made to pay for this.
