Capitalism Is Not the “Market System”
(Capitalism, on the other hand, is a description of how the production of goods and services is organized, and how the participants relate to one another in the process of production. Thus conflating “capitalism” with “the market system” loses sight of the fact that markets can exist in relation to different systems of production.)
Republicans hide behind the terminology of being conservatives. Rather problematic when each time they have the power structure they are found to create the most costly governments in our history. The Reagan era became the prime example of that. And conservative for who? Obviously not the country as a whole. As our socialized part of the system always welfare's our tax laws to benefit them over the people. Even in today's standards where multi billion dollar profit companies soak our society via subsidies. As the democrats hiding behind the mask of democracy. We empire fighters have long been trying to get the word out that our elections are purposely rig, by both sides, yes. The 2016 election cycle was a clear proven case for that. But in the past the democratic process of delegates have long been a talking point to ensure a particular type of candidate be put in place. As such misuse of those terminologies is also capitalism. As Thom Hartmann would explain it, capital is what is made from a product, stock, and or shares in stock. It's not actually a system. He would often rant about people setting along side a pool making their money off the market as being the capitalist of our country. Socialism is another terminology widely misused and often only so to manage our perception towards countries actually misusing that term. Fear Russia and China often the agenda. Or when wanting to bring down a Latin government that's been democratically elected which could expose socialism as a working system. They purposely deny you the knowledge that what they call capitalism is also a part of their socialized system through their private companies. In which the downfall for those countries are always the work of those private companies that want to hoard the counties wealth and resources. This is a good part of narrative Caitlin Johnstone talks about. If you control the narrative and in this case also the terminology of the system, you can develop an illusion to deceive the people. Eliminating all this misused terminology would be a benefit towards equality. Only, human greed and the desire for power stand in the way.
