We’ve Come A Long Way: President Obama says Medicare for all is a “good new idea”

[healthoverprofit.org]

I'm betting what Obama said at the University of Illinois is yet another distraction to merely pull in voters. I haven't heard any establishment democrats speaking about moving towards single payer or any real sense of universal healthcare. I've only heard how Trump is tearing it apart, rightfully so, and only wanting to improve it. Which is really an admission to its flaws in the first place. Flaws that they knew would continue to benefit their healthcare companies that donate to them at the expense of certain people that got screwed in its making.

Until we take the money out of the equation of control of government there will never be any repairs made to the system. I grew up during a time of great market growth and when all the new ideas were being implemented. Then in the Reagan regime they decided to take it apart and "fix" it. Nothing good ever happened again after letting corporations into the government as a player or planner.

We're heading for a new Feudal dystopia, where national boundaries have no significance and we are slaves to the market. The system is out of control, in sickness and in health, the Corporations rule.
