Forgiveness Is Overrated
For the newer members here I'll repeat this. While I love Johnstone's work, the majority of it is almost always directed towards the US. Rarely does she target the aristocrats, that I often refer to as the oligarchy, in her own country and other countries. She seems to give a pass to the fact that what's going on around the globe is a joint coalition effort. Especially when it comes to Iraq that she mentions in this article. Lets not forget that Iraq became a historic blunder because of the work of several different countries that in the beginning played a part in. One being her own. Lets not forget that the false intelligence used as means to begin that blunder came from at least 3 countries I can think of. First was the use of a fake official document with that countries official header on it. Then you had the British intelligence which distributed that fake document to our intelligence agencies. When you consider the last few years of what has been going on in Syria, at least 3 other countries have willingly been selling weapons and engaged in war efforts towards regime change there. Someone, anyone, feel free to sell me of the thought that aristocrats in these countries aren't benefiting from that! Or that the current political movement to the right in all these countries isn't a willing agenda either. So when she in the second to last paragraph attempts to lay all this on the US aristocrats, I have to speak up. When you mention the pope doing a gig in Ireland about another world problem, then end your article by labeling only the US, I have issues. Latin America is also protesting this problem as of late. Actually, this has been publicly voiced in Latin America quite often over several years and not given any attention by main stream media. You don't think the puppet governments and aristocrats down there don't have anything to do with that though, huh?
