I have a degree of hope in our country being what I witnessed during the primary cycle of 2016. I seen and helped many republicans switch party affiliation to democrat so to vote for Sanders. And Independents in areas where Independents can't vote in primaries. I'll argue our main problem as far as the republican party is in our rural and southern areas. Because most of those republicans wanting to vote for Sanders were mostly 50 years of age and up. Claiming they no longer recognized the republican party they knew. Yet couldn't bring themselves to vote for democrats either. Essentially, I would imagine that would be they were seeing the same coming out of both parties, as many of people like myself? Seriously, what's the first thing you get on a republican website forum if you bring up Sanders, or for god sakes Marx? All the managed perception taught to us with a simple word, communism. Then free stuff, the cries come out. They have absolutely no knowledge of Marx or the theory of The Means of Production. They only have what they've been trained to speak. I think most people here are relatively decent folk. We just have a majority of people who aren't thinking for themselves.

What if Donald Trump is what the world is like?

I'd almost think Caitlin Johnstone wrote this if I didn't see another name on it. Don't get me wrong, I love her work. But what pisses me off is that 99% of her work is bashing us Americans. Seriously, take a hard good look around the globe and you'll find we aren't the only players in this game. Or the only population being hood winked. This writer slightly touched on this. (Really? Is that what the US has done around the globe? Who exactly is this "We"? Would that "We" include the US president who gave billions of dollars to Israel to slaughter Palestinians with ease and to the Saudis to commit war crimes in Yemen; and would it include the president before him who left Iraq and Afghanistan in ruins?) (From Brazil to Saudi Arabia to Israel to the racist, xenophobic, proto-fascist parties in Europe - they all have a solid ally in all the three branches of the US government.) Everything in this article I could write about Britain. And what's going on here in the US, is also going on in other countries as well. How about Germany who is in the process of a steep step to the right today. Italy? Ukraine? Many countries in Latin and South America. Much longer history in this arena than the US Britain has. How about we do some soul identifying searching in these places. What if Donald Trump is what the world is like should be the title! Slavery has been a world issue for centuries. I'd like to drop Hillieary Clinton, Obama, and Trump smack down in the middle of Libya. Add Sanders to that for the knife in our backs. Their terrorist groups can have them! It's quite astonishing that this ancient primal type of humanity is coming back on us in a time such as today. Even more astonishing is that the world seems to be blissfully allowing it again. Maybe, just maybe, that's because all the worlds eyes are all on us in the US. And those suffering this persecution are lead to believe it's all in the name of us in the US. In the beginning of this 18 year quagmire many countries played a major role in the Iraq lie. And for 17 years now all eyes have been on us. While they've been creeping in your back doors. Let that sink in. Did they speak up when their countries joined the gang bang? Now they're coming after you, too.
