Why the Press Sucks So Bad, Part 2: Take Me to the Bridge
(1) In other words. Perception management.
(2) 1 leads to a need of an illusion. Here in 2, I would have also included a little on the inception of Christian America, "under God" and there's that phrase again, "America first" This agenda getting started in 1940's to combat the New Deal and that scary ass socialism. Corporate America with the help of religion create an illusion to kill the New Deal in efforts to change political power, take back their power, and create a nation under god.

I see a lot of this. I really do. A problem I see today is the drive to report the news without any connections that would help analyze the news. If Bobby has a new hat, for example, that says very little as a stand alone news item. News today seems second in nature to the revenue generated sales items. There is also too much of a tie in to corporate America, usually in ways to help us see them as the good guys when that is not always the case.
As far as "Christian America" that has always been an ugly head that they have tried to tie in with all the rest. It just doesn't fly. Gods had nothing to do with it. Today everything is being put in place to "steal our country" right into the mindframe that so many have pushed for all along. We might be fascist white supremacists but you have your Communist free government and your god, so shut up and make money for us.
