The underlying prejudice of people is surfacing and they are being encouraged to show it. People who dress differently, pray differently and eat differently. We need to remember our things that we have in common. We are humans, needing shelter, family, work and love. We have children we care for and security we want. We have much more in common than we have in differences. Love is the answer .

I'll go along with that. But, what's our excuse here in the US? We've taken in no where near the numbers as EU countries. And, what part of that is caused by media concentration vastly weighing on the violence and protest from those against the immigrants? Compared to very limited coverage of those supporting them? Dirty laundry?

@William_Mary The USA bombs countries, interferes, with others but refuses the vast number of innocent people displaced as a result.
Why does it hate moslems? Sometimes it pours money and arms into the hands of people it later defines as enemies.
What really is the difference between extreme christian fundamentalists and moslem fundamentalists. They both it seems want armageddon.

The funny part to my mind is that I look at Obama and he doesn't look very black to me whilst masses of your leading whites look pretty brown to me. Maybe because I'm a descendant of red haired, white skinned celts. I'm the type of skin to never be uncovered as I burn so easily.

two parents, 4 grandparents, 8 great grandparents, it doesn't take many generations before the numbers exceed the population of the time.
