I posted this on another website, and the first comment was, "Well, at least they're on our side. Who knows who that Slovenian spy in Trump's household is working for."
Some people just can't put 2 and 2 together from something like this. Yet they will eat up the Russian propaganda narrative.

That for anyone to believe that our government just didn’t have the means to coordinate anything like political coupes in foreign countries let alone conspire to undo the constitution by it’s own citizens against each other and creating a militarized state.
And my response was plainly “ Do you believe that we made it to the moon and back?”
And of course “yes “was his response.
“ So was that a cheap and simple task? “
“No it was anything but”
And then it apparently hit him because he then changed to “ well I hope that you’re wrong “ ?
It’s like you said people just don’t get it or want to get it which is worse.
How’s the saying go “ being stupid is not knowing any better but being ignorant is knowing better but choosing to not accept it.

Another comment I got on this was to the effect of it's ok because no information or money was being exchanged from a foreign source to an American candidate. The justifications for this stuff is disturbing.
Makes me laugh that so many people think friendly nations don't spy on one another. We spy on you, you spy on us (a lot, actually), we both link up (with help from New Zealand) to spy on all our other friends, EU countries spy on other EU countries as do NATO countries, Israel spies on everyone...
