Whose Blood, Whose Treasure?

[consortiumnews.com]

War is a racket. We've all heard that, who said it and the era it came from. Still true today.

We'll be in Afghanistan for half a century? Still going today with no end in sight. We're going after 7 countries, before we even got to Iraq? uh huh--and we're even warring in a number of places today in Africa. Basically a silent war setting that the media isn't telling the public about.

Every war since WWII has been built on lies. Even how we got drawn into WWII has its questions.

CIA begins a program of perception management with the help of the media. Agenda is to condition the American public to perpetual warring. Reagan staunchly activates this tactic to enter Central America.

This is all being done under both establishment parties. Do you still think we are defending our freedom and way of life? Mary just found out one of her grandsons is joining the army. She's quite disturbed! Why be their pawn!?!

I would never voluntarily sign up to serve those psychos. Anyone who does must not be informed about what's going on. That's not a slight on them. Some people just don't research this stuff or have the time or inclination. Sometimes people who join are entrenched in their beliefs already that showing them anything to the contrary confirms their bias. There are also other reasons why people join. I've gone through it a few times in discussion and some people get offended when I list the reasons because a lot of people automatically attach courageousness and patriotism to joining the armed forces and when you veer from that they attack like it's peronal.

Education and living in an area where employment is scarce is on the top of the list. Allowing our corporations to move our jobs out of the country has great benefits for the war machine.
