Feel the Burden: an Apology, Somber Reflections and Incremental Wisdom Gained
The group often relates to the same issue Teodrose Fikre is confronting in membership. When the start of the democratic presidential hopefuls started jumping in the race and I began posting articles of their possible hypocrisies, membership started to fall. For those that don't know, Teodrose Fikre was a stanch advocate for Barack Obama, working on his campaign and part of Obama's victory speech was even written by Teodrose Fikre. Then became disgruntled when Obama became, as Teodrose Fikre labels, the banker president. His campaign promises to bring change while only bringing us more of the same. Essentially the continuance of the same policies and agendas as the past few presidents before him. I fell in line behind Teodrose Fikre with my support and time spent on the Bernie Sanders campaign. Only to now see Sanders in the same light today.
It's a very hard to attempt to draw people into a sense of seeing the "whole picture" as I often refer to it, without crossing the line and making statements that draw proverbial blood, so to speak. I however will not apologize for baring fair warning for my attempts to pull others from the pain I endured towards my awakening. History and the type of journalism I follow tells me I have a good foundation to stand on. If someone feels the need to stomp off because their feelings are hurt over wait until the fat lady sings as we debate it, that's their loss? For if what ever I might stand by becomes wrong, I'll also post the benefit in which I was wrong when proven so. Meaning if Sanders was to accomplish his run successfully and change course of the establishment agenda and policies, I would welcome any told you so's that might come with it. But his actions after 2016, his voting record, and recent lack of denouncing the agenda towards Venezuela tell me I'm probably not wrong. If you've been around the group long you know I'm not about either party. I'm about conquering both parties and the agendas they have. Bringing light to the perception management they and the media hold over much of the population. In which I welcome any debate towards all aspects within.
