It's the beginning of the end for "alternative" news. We will only have the corporate owned establishment talking points mainstream media after this. It will take some time, but eventually more journalists that don't toe the line will either be forced out of the business or arrested for revealing information the government doesn't like being revealed about their corruption. This case sets an important precedent that will affect democracy even more than it has been affected in the past. Eventually, no "journalist" will report anything of substance or truth to power anymore. We've been progressing towards it more and more, but we will be living in a complete dystopian "1984" then.
