If you had tighter security on voting machines in 2016, what we may have found out was that the NSA was the main hacking entity in voting machines other than just the 4 or 5 they were caught in. When it comes to voting machine discrepancies it always tends to benefit the republicans also. It would be fitting for the democrats to blame the republicans on concerns of vote issues after having been caught in 2016 of rigging their own primary.

This issue will not see the light of a voting day because neither party actually wants it to. Both parties have engaged in vote tampering, and possibly fraud, to a degree in multiple aspects in which neither one confronts the other over.
