It has now been put to me that it is wrong to post the same article in multiple groups.
People join different groups for different purposes unless they are simply point whores wanting to be top point scorers.
It has been proven by others that multi-group postings elicit views from different people who would not have seen the post if it had not been posted in their group and because the reader has a different interest as evidenced by their membership of the group are likely to give response based upon a different viewpoint.
Is this wrong or simply giving extended benefit to fellow Agnostic.com members?
Is this someone else's delusion, stupidity or are they simply trying more gaslighting on me?

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.When I have something to post that relates to the general board and a specific group then I post it twice, but after I post to the group I will post it to the general board with the "Politics" option. If I just post it to the group then everyone that's not a member of that group won't be able to engage in the discussion. I think the only negative is that it will be two different chains of thought and the specific group members that most likely are more interested won't get to engage with the general board members. I'm not sure how it works.

I do not have a problem with anyone posting something to multiple groups. Yes I will get multiple alerts for the same thing but as you pointed out other comments from different folks can make a post even more interest and fun.

I vaguely remember a film about otters and what their dam did to a nasty fur trapper wanting their hides!

@Cutiebeauty but once I've logged on unless I'm following someone I do not get new alerts for general forums. If I brouse yes but I don't always do that.
That said I do remember a post by FrayedBear the I checked out but had no comment and noticed no one else did either. So it goes sometimes.
@FrayedBear When I go to my mail box (the United States Postal Service one where I live) and there is nothing in it it does not mean no one likes me. or maybe it does.
