These Companies Promised to Be Socially Responsible, But They Are Pushing ALEC’s Right-Wing Agenda
Just days before their CEOs pledged to work for all Americans, a dozen major corporations sent lobbyist to ALEC’s annual retreat to work in secret with lawmakers on bills to promote fossil fuels and bust unions.
{Last week, nearly two hundred corporate executives endorsed a “statement on the purpose of a corporation” from the Business Roundtable, a trade group composed of executives of major U.S. corporations, promising to protect the environment, treat workers fairly, and respect the communities in which they do business. The statement, published on August 19, provides a new definition for the purpose of a corporation. Rather than serving only shareholders, corporations exist to “promote an economy that works for all Americans.”}
I started to read an article on this last week and gave up on it quite quickly. And this article I'm posting is why the idea of its sincerity was already beating that decision I came to through my skull. As I was sure more would come out on it.
Who's really writing our laws? It's been decades since it has been our law makers.

Not while the ruling classes capitalism is controlling our society. Exodus of the 2 party establishment will be the only way for a peaceful revolution.
