After Admitting "Itβs Always Been Republicans Suppressing Votes," Trump Advisor Says Party Will Get Even More Aggressive in 2020
"It's clear there's no law Donald Trump and his right-wing machine won't bend, break, or ignore to try to win the presidency."
{"This should be one of those things that Democrats never stop talking about," said Media Matters editor-at-large Parker Molloy. "This is a scandal. "}
Well, I have brought this issue up a number of times. The democrats will not speak of this simply because they are compliant to the destruction of democracy. Especially with their own involvement of stabbing democracy in the back in 2016. If you didn't have your head buried in the sand of media perception management in 2016 there's no other way to have missed it!
What if I told you we were never really a country about democracy? Democracy for the commons has always been at odds to power and wealth. In the beginning the senate was made up of the positioned wealthy by state legislatures who feared the taking of land. It wasn't until 1913 senators were placed by popular vote.
{The U.S. Senate, named after the ancient Roman Senate, was designed as a more deliberative body than the U.S. House. Edmund Randolph called for its members to be "less than the House of Commons ... to restrain, if possible, the fury of democracy."}
{The Senate underwent several significant changes during the presidency of Woodrow Wilson, the most profound of which was the ratification of the 17th Amendment in 1913, which provided for election of senators by popular vote rather than appointment by the state legislatures.}
Our democracy on the part of the commons has never been so vastly under attack as it is today! And we are facing a 3 front enemy. According to the world of William, it's a 2 front attack. The establishment parties and the media that serves them. And that all rolls down hill from the oligarchs they serve.
Below is part of Noam Chomsky's Requiem for the American Dream. The full version plays on RT's Documentary program periodically. If you have RT I highly suggest giving it a view some time when you can catch it.
This really should be posted in the conservative atheist group - them's some folk that really need to hear this message!!!
Yep, EXACTLY what I've known for a very long time but not too many listen to me, my Dad agreed with me but sadly he passed back in 1994.
Democracy was never contemplated for everyone. Never for the slave class. We have never had a democracy in theis world. There have always been those who want to rule and have more.
