Social Media and Social Control: How Silicon Valley Serves the US State Department

Facebook isn’t the only Silicon Valley firm with partisan oversight of what we see: the bipartisan billionaire class and their security state have partnered with tech firms since the dawn of the internet to control the parameters of users’ thinking.

Another example would be Wikipedia. I've occasionally attempted to draw attention to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's true nature in exposing the managed perception of the MSM towards her political exposure. While they paint her as a mere freshman in congress with no experience, she's had a life time of developing her political agenda. She is far from being just a bar tender they conditioned her to be. As I have pointed out before she served under Ted Kennedy's office for his immigration affairs. Her time in collage was vastly spent serving on political endeavors and actions. And her father was involved in politics. Evidently to many people like myself were putting those pieces together like myself. Being what I would consider a major introduction into politics would be having a father in politics to learn from providing inspiration, which probably lead to her placement in Kennedy's office, was removed from her Wikipedia profile. Wikipedai has been exposed for editing a vast majority of the pages within. And attempting to find information I was once able to find easily is now a pain staking work of preciseness.

NewsGuard is a recently new app, August 2018, that has been getting promoted by Microsoft. I had someone suggest it to me from the Politics Page. Firstly, I don't trust anything from any main stream tech company when it comes to regulating my internet use. They have agendas! That's all you have to know! Fear their agendas! Secondly, I've been using my sources for nearly 2 decades in which each have had their moments being ridiculed by the mindless and under attack of algorithms since 2016 which is today a sign someone doesn't want you to find the information they provide for a reason. When I weight the information I get to the history of what I'm presently observing the pieces fall together quite easily. When you have a source that provides a number of links within their articles that back up their narrative and history you have likely found good journalism. I went straight to wikipedia and found much of the same information this article is providing on NewsGuard. It is establishment filled that screams out false agenda with the intent to condition perception.

{Naturally, NewsGuard has given conservative outlet Fox News a green checkmark of authenticity and WikiLeaks a red exclamation mark advising caution because, in their words, “this website generally fails to maintain basic standards of accuracy and accountability.” This, despite the fact that NewsGuard later states that “WikiLeaks does not appear to run corrections,” something it faults the site for, “although it almost exclusively publishes primary source documents, which have never been shown to be fake.”}
