In fact, economic sanctions are an act of war that kills tens of thousands of people each year through financial strangulation. An economic blockade places a country under siege.

@Cutiebeauty But it is a horrible way to treat a people just because you disagree with them. Now the trumpies will always claim that they are being attacked. Not true. The attackers are the Americans or the CIA or American mercenaries. What tiny army attacks one hundreds of times more powerful? It is as ridiculous as to claim that Afghanistan via Saudi Arabia attacked the twin towers bringing down three buildings with two planes collapsing in a manner one would call expert. Tiny nations do not attack big ones as they lose.
The Americans feel that losing 100 soldiers requires 100,000 deaths in response.
If no war then starve 1/2 million children.
Easily said while you're relatively safe in the US, while that is exactly what others face to force the US dollar use. And sanctions kill vastly more people in some regards. While the US has lost approximately 8000 people between the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, Venezuela alone has lost at least 40,000 people due to sanctions since only about 2014. Most of those since only 2017 at the height of application. You're basically admitting that the economic murder of millions over time is worth the murder of several thousand American troops when other countries resist. Just which families would you believe agree with that assessment? And if you don't believe these wars are over lies and a deceptive reality in which they are being killed in, you're must support them?
