Economics pretends to be a hard science and its an easy sell because they use numbers. But a refusal to learn from actual experiments (like Trickle Down) shows this to be illusory.

While Jacobin often brilliantly relates our struggles within society, I spread caution to their agenda. Jacobin is a tool of the DSA (Democratic Socialist of America). In which these 2 entities have a concerned agenda to draw and trap people in a failing democratic party. As though this capitalist party with a horrid history can be taken over and changed by socialist and progressives.

Jacobin hit its popularity peak in 2016 on facebook in which I started following it. It didn't take long for me to start putting the pieces together on how everything lead back to supporting the democratic party, and how their end game seem to always fall short of a separation from corporate structure. You simply can't manage change within a corporate owned party in as many issues they need to control to continue their profit driven agendas.

And it didn't take the WSWS (World Socialist Web Site) long to get it either. Who, in my opinion, correctly points this out occasionally about both Jacobin and the DSA. In the following article you will find the WSWS writer Andre Damon picks apart the Publisher Bhaskar Sunkara of Jacobin over the 2016 election and the Iowa caucus the first of the month as an example. In which both Sanders and Sunkara went on to support a rigged system they knew stole democracy from its and Sanders supporters. Sanders going on to support and join in on a false Russian narrative!

My comment is purely one of caution! Just a heads up on where a possible rabbits hole may be. Question what you get from this magazine!

One would think anyone who looked at how things were in the late 1800's to 1929, how America got itself out of the depression and then the dismantling under Reagan would know trickle down does not work. But that's just me, I graduated from HS but never went on to get a degree, but I do know how read, question and think. I find people in rural America do not want to read. They do not like an intelligent president. In order to get rural America back on track you are going to have to pry the TV remote outta their greasy grubby hands.

I wish I had answers, I don't. History shows us who we've been and what the decisions we've made turned out like (Hoover's response to the market collapse versus FDR's response, as just one example), so it should be easy to avoid mistakes we've made before ... and yet, we keep repeating several. Greed has been converted from a vice to a virtue by our culture, and that is not remotely sustainable. I just hope we can do better this time, despite a heavily stacked deck.
