Now reading Neil DeGrasse Tyson's "AstroPhysics for People in a Hurry." Recently read J.R.R.Tolkein's " translation of "Beowulf." Despite its place in the pantheon of major ancient myths and texts, I found it uninspiring, and thin. I've read a lot on cosmology and Quantum Mechanics for the layman, and Tyson's book is a nice educational read.
