I served on a Grand Jury. I could have got out of it but I didn't keep the paperwork, so I figured "How long could it take". That was before I found out it was two days a week for four months. I spent the first two months as an alternate, but the next two months I was there, Monday and Friday. Very interesting.

I used to worry about that, but I have enough friends that I don't worry about it. I'm convinced (without evidence) that some people have distanced themselves from me due to my rligeous beliefs, but it might just be me distancing myself from them for the same reason. If that was going to be a problem, I would just as soon get that out of the way early.

After my wife died I felt onely and alone all the time. Now 10 years later I am less botherd being alone and also spend more time around other people, which helps. Vicki was one of the sharpest people I ever met, and we could talk about anything. I miss that more than anything. I want it again.

Taking pictures has always been more meaningful to me than the pictures themselves. That being said, I have acumulated thousands of pictures that I would never be able to replace, friends that are gone, places that no longer exist, and places I will never be able to go back to. While money is nice, I don't have fond memories of getting paid.

When my wife was sick, most of my friends drifted away. I don't blame them, I just wasn't there. After she passed I knew I needed to be around people, so I joined several Meetup groups (meetup.com) engaged in different things for my various interests. Things like digital photography, independent film, or just social groups. The idea was not immediate romance, instead I was looking for people that I shared common interests with. Eventually some relationships have formed, and we have some interests in common.

There was a period when I accidently locked my TV into the DVD only mode. I could have fixed it any of three ways, but each would have taken about 30 minutes, buying a universal remote, taking the entertainmen center apart, moving an extremly heavy hide a bed. After a year of putting it off, I realized I didn't care. More recently I got a Blueray player and had to replce the TV, because my old TV didn't work with the new player. I have TV again, but I still don't watch it.

With almost six weeks of notice, one of the people sent the answers after the show was over, disqualify themselves. So it was a lot less fun than I thought it would be.
