You sir represent hope, hope that those trapped in ignorance can find their own way out
Great letter
Congratulations, I know you’re looking forward to an amazing year!
BTW, thier issue with child abuse.. unless it’s witnessed by two people, it didn’t happen. That’s just crazy!
Welcome to the wonderful world of apostasy. Evidence based reason will guide us better than any faith based religious dogma.
I am surprised you bothered!
I would think he got a lot of satisfaction from saying the things he really wanted to say. It was very well done.
You showed great compassion and restraint in not including the outro paragraph we discussed, but I still think it's worth publishing here:
In summation, please take note that I no longer give two shits or a rusty fuck what any of you think. Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, Ezekiel you're cool but Matt, double fuck you. I pray only that you can take a 2 minute time out from fornicating each other with a grip of pipe cleaners to remove me from the mailer and log this change to your records.
May hell and damnation find you on the toilet,
Hugs n kisses,
JB
Thanks everyone for all the positive comments!
Beautifully written. I admire your courage and intelligence, and I know you will stand your ground.
Having thrown off religious dogma you are now in a position to enjoy and appreciate the beauty of nature and reality on a deep and profound level and live in joy.
Congratulations!
I was not aware that "quitting" any church, temple, etc., required such a letter. I may just write a letter to the the current pastor of Aloma United Methodist Church and let them know they got it all wrong. Trump could stand some similar direction.
Imagine all the extra money that would be added to the tax base if churches had to pay taxes. Why are they tax exempt in the first place? I think our forefathers were afraid to tax their god.
Welcome to the community. Congrats on leaving the dark side . Your free from the bs and to start your journey of enlightenment. Your letter was very educational about the jw fools. It makes me glad I never set foot in one of there buildings. I'm sure writing that letter was quite liberating and I'm glad you did.
Wow, I know that must be challenging but welcome to the rest of your life!
My first wife's father was a JW. They bled him of his money to the point where the IRS came to his wife, who was separated from him, to try to figure out how he could be giving JWs so much money. It was incredible. There is much more to this story but suffice to say, I realized that they were only interested in his money.
