Again, I don't have much sympathy for this guy. But what if this request spawns an inquiry about the conditions that the other prisoners face? And what if they really are inhumane?

Come to think of it, though, that might be exactly WHY the judge so easily granted his request: to avoid that kind of scrutiny.
