Yeah and the Captain got hung out to dry for following orders, the ship had NO escorts, no notifications were sent or given of its departure, arrival or subsequent departure from its port of unloading, SOS calls were sent out but totally ignored by the US Navy bases. The Captain committed suicide after the 'Kangaroo Court Martial' after enduring endless calls by anonymous callers threatening him and blaming him, etc, when he WAS complete innocent to say the least when he SHOULD have been exonerated. Typical American Military SNAFU in my opinion, i.e. blame the innocent NOT the guilty.
