Clownfish photo bombs! And then the biggest emerald crab ever! Though he just lurks... used to have various shrimp. They used to hide where he lives. Pretty sure that’s where they disappeared to!

I can appreciate pinned specimens, but I really prefer living butterflies. These are the Little Wood Satyr and the Red-Spotted Purple (showing off its namesake spots). I think the RSP is one of our prettiest native species.

Just the other afternoon - I went to collect an egg from one of my girls - and this yellow rat had beaten me to it ! It was a beauty, and large - over 5ft. Guess the hens are helping this one get larger still !
