This was in 2013. I found this little guy in Deer Creek Canyon, between Santa Fe and Glorieta, NM. I believe it was my first skink spotting.

My Attacus caterpillars are almost 4" long, now. They've done a lot of growing on the past week! I think if I had reared them outdoors in Ailanthus, rather than indoors on Syringa (lilac), they would be significantly larger.

My grumpy ball python is finally starting to relax a bit. I don't know if it had a bad experience with people at the pet store or if he got out on the wrong side of the egg, but we have came to an understanding at last. :-)
