My dream snake. Green anaconda. Not sure if that is her size or it’s a perspective thing that she looks that big (or photoshop). Nonetheless a gorgeous baby.

I was in a local park that has quite a few feral cats that people feed. There are also a lot of mongooses that come to eat the cat food. They're very skittish and hard to take a picture of but I did manage to get a few, although to to clear.

A weird scene I encountered in the woods of Bald Eagle State Forest: five, dead, red-spotted purples on a stump. I assume they were posed, as they don't look like they've sustained predator damage. They weren't far from a campsite, so I'm guessing ...

I am hoping someone here knows what this fellow turned into when he grew up. It was the largest caterpillar I have ever encountered. Found in Long Beach, California.

Part of the fun of being owned by reptiles. Shedding issues. This is Riddick, who is actually a girl but was adopted out to us as a boy. She is a anerythristic corn snake, meaning she lacks any red pigment. The rescue didn’t know how to care for ...

Finished retrofitting a closet into a new home for Rita! She loves it. Very easy now for her to get in and out - mostly out. She's our sandpaper kitty :)

Any idea what this is? It was on a tree on Oahu, Hawaii and looks almost like a preying mantis egg case, but I have never seen a mantis here. Also, all the mantis eggs that I've found on the mainland were on stems or reeds.
