he says "do you know my dish is only half full?!?!?"
My boston terrier insisted on being in the bathroom with me. But he would politely turn facing the closed door and remain there until I opened the door to let us out!
My cat did the same thing! She also liked drinking from the sink faucet, but when I was brushing my teeth, she would turn away to "give me privacy" and then start drinking again. Very considerate, I think.
My dogs think the toilet is the Petting Time Throne.
My kitties are very anxious if there is a door between us. Are they just snoopy or what? If I am gone when they hear the garage door open they congregate by the door to the garage. If I come in with someone they scatter to various hiding spots. If I am alone they race me up the stairs. They win. If I am in a room in my house with the door closed they are outside and generally trying to get my attention by reaching under the door. Right now they are both within 4 feet of me. They're not always my shadows, but a good part of the time I'm home they're close to me.
Does he allow you the same when he goes to the toilet in his tray?
Not at all. LOL
