Sorry, slightly stoned here, but how do electric can openers kill cats?
I remember having both but never at the same time. It seems I only own electric can opener’s when people give them to me.

Never mind I just got it.
Cats often recognize the sounds that mean “food is coming!” That can be an opener if they are fed canned food, or the bag rustling if its dry cat food.
