I have at least one scratching post in every room. They aren’t stupid so they go right to them.

Cats LOVE to scratch on wicker furniture. Get one just for the cats & I guarantee they will avoid the other furniture, with a little negative & positive re-enforcement for the wicker. Entice them with some cat nip & watch them tear that piece up.
