Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.If the shirt existed in reality and not just a figment of the artists imagination added to a plain green shirt, I would think that each cat would have to have been painted on in oil paint as they would not have had acrylic and other media would wash off.

My sister thought it was most likely needlework. That would make the most sense to me too.
@Hathacat that is a long way of doing it and the merging of cat colour is unlike any thread but theragain women seemingly had nothing better to do with their time and over the years have turned out painfully exquisite needlework.
