Since I have been off work I haven't had anything that seems like a schedule, the girls know they will get food eventually. And because of my sleep issues, I was up about the usual time as it is and they got their breakfast.

My cats aren’t really that particular about feeding time. When they see/hear me start to get up that’s when the start making noise about food. My dogs though would bug me to go out early.

Yes, but I experience this every day regardless of the daylight savings nonsense.

Mine slept in like they worked a 12 hour shift.

Actually it was my dogs that woke me up early, and they woke up the cats.

Kitties are anarchists. I agree with them, time is a human invention.

True. And fall back and spring forward are even more artificial.

@graceylou The whole thing is illogical, not fun like a kitty.

@Skeptic66 Ah well, I still liked the extra hour of sleep.

@graceylou Now it will be dark too early.

@Skeptic66 Since I work only a few meters from my house, I don't mind walking home in the dark. It's easier to wake up with a bit of light.

@graceylou I just love light, and prefer it later in the day. I work from home.

@Skeptic66 Up here, not much daylight over wintertime anyhow. We just have to live in darkness like bats and vampires.

@graceylou I lived in St. Petersburg, Russia, with no sunlight for 24 hours a day in December.

@Skeptic66 I was in Yukon (above the Arctic Circle) for a couple of months in the summertime. It was sunlight almost 24 hours (just got dusky for a couple of hours). Ugh, could not sleep until I got too tired.

@graceylou Same with Petersburg in June. I waked about 3 am each morning.

I bought a light box this year hoping to help.

@Skeptic66 I will take whatever I get living here. Nothing much I can do about it. They put scrapping Daylight Savings to a vote in this province and people voted to keep it. Oh well.

@graceylou Democracy does not work!
