Some cats really know how to hide well. I used to know a cat that knew how to hide behind trees from people seeing him.
That actually happens with black cats. I've literally said "Where's Raz?" Than had him blink his eyes open right THERE!
And don't get me started on almost tripping on him in a dark hallway.
Good thing his eyes are green? lol
Actually our ginger matches the bamboo flooring we have and so finding him becomes difficult, fortunately he has a place where he spends most of his time that is not on the floor.
My golden matched the woodwork in the house we had when we first got him. He would follow me to the bathroom and lie down outside the door waiting for me. I'd trip over him as I left the room because I couldn't see him. I'd feel bad for both of us. He was my shadow. There was not room in that half bath for the both of us.
Hahahaha.....I guess that puts meaning into the phrase hiding in plain sight.

Posted by LaurenI thought this was an accurate representation of how we feel every time we remember our last cat, which happens often when my daughter and I laugh over our current cat's antics.
