While visiting Suzhou China, my granddaughter took us to her favorite small restaurant. It is called 'Cat Cafe'. All about cats, this café allows them to wander about the entire place and mingle with customers.
There are comfort places for the cats to go or 'perch' atop carpeted towers or wi. Picking them up or restraining them is not allowed but petting is. They 'choose you' to visit and if you care to give them morsels of your food, it's o.k. I got some great pics there and will try to post them.

They are very agile and only look or sniff,, though one can feed them bits if so choosing.
