We just adopted out our 2,000 th cat at Kittyland last week. We now have 5 mamas with newborns, so we never seem to run out of cats for adoption.

I've been "adopted" by four different cats over about a 40 year period. That cat that I have now is the first and only one that I've ever adopted from a shelter. All the rest of them just showed up and moved in. Cats have a fascinating way of being able to tell who cat people are.

I've tried sitting on her lap, and stretching out on her computer keyboard while she's working. I don't get the same reaction from her as the cat does.

@bigpawbullets when do they say your ribs will heal? . . . And the lumps go down?
