We put a cat door into our sliding screen door, so we dont' have play doorman to them all day when the weather gets warmer.
I've never had outside cats. Too scared they'll get run over, kidnapped, maimed or, worse yet, catch something like feline leukemia. Mine was a stray. Three years later, he's a very spoiled mama's boy.
@Melbates We tried to make the cats indoor cats, but they had heir own ideas about that. If we lived further out near the ills, we'd have probably not bent to their wishes so easily, as there care coyotes and once in a great while a cougar is spotted too. However, we are deep enough in suburbia to not have to worry about that at least.
