I have always objected to neutering dogs and cats as in removing the entirety of the sex hormone producing organs. Many pet owners don't realise what implications it entails.
There are more and more article like this one. [outsmartyourpetscancer.com]
It's high time pet owners questioned the conventional way of neutering their pets.
And you ignore the fact that over a million unwanted animals a year are euthanized simply because they have no homes...And condone the lives they lead before they get their 10 days at the shelter?
But hey, let's just go for More of them!!!! Lots More!!!!!!
And BTW I had a Complete hysterectomy at age 29 and all was just fine.
You haven't read the article...
And verification by reference to one's personal experience is often poor, lacking the quality of being logically and factually sound.
@Ryo1 ahhhhhh, BUT if I hadn't put that in you would have No Doubt claimed I had no basis for my rebuttal, being "unfixed" myself..........
@annewimsey1 You are deviating from the topic I posted. Sorry but I find your argument weak and invalid on this occasion.

We make progress tho it may be ponderous. Definitely a worthwhile pursuit. Now that most pets are desexualized in shelters the choice is left less to the adopter. We in the USA have reduced significantly the unwanted overpopulation of pets. Perhaps science will catch up with our methods to reduce suffering in our pet population.
