My sister is the one who usally gives the cats wet food. She went away for a week, and so it fell to me. I have been timing the feeding to when the cats are not present, so they wont' start to think of me as someone who feeds them
They already demand enough from me just in my role as the cat's doorman. The back sliding door may be open for them to use the cat door in the screen door, but they will come upstairs to tell me they want to be let out the front door.
