Indeed they do have a strangle hold on Congress, what the main issues for me is Evangelicals buying power in Kenneset through donations to the Likud Party. Which leads more land grabs by Israel, which leads to heightened tensions. In their world view this brings on Armageddon, and return of their Skydaddy and the Rupture..
klikud accepts money from anywhere. Israeli law does not disallow political parties recieving donations from foreign entities. But i am sure that Likud is not giving anything to evangelicals in return.
Likud is the least likely entity on this planet to endorse the evangelical idea that jews will come to be converted to christianity
