I am of the opinion that while symbols of racism and slavery are being removed from Public, now would be a good time to replace those same symbols on US currency, particularly the images of Washington and Jefferson, other slave owners, and mass murderers.

Those statues have a place all together with other statues for a historic setting like a museum or a place like I live, Gettysburg, but just put up in random Southern towns is simply racist control.
I believe they all need to be removed. That said, to those who spout "it's history" I like to say, "Ok, for every Lee, you need a Grant, and shouldn't Georgia have a swath of Sherman's?" They don't like that suggestion.
