German police found to be sharing neo-nazi imagery. [theguardian.com]
This is a bit different but for months now I get several calls a week wanting me to donate to retired police officers. At first I was civil and explained that they have pensions in addition to social security and they made much more than I when I worked so why should I feel obligated to support them when they retire? When the calls became more insistent, I swore, I asked to be taken off the call list but still keep getting the calls and the frequency stepped up. It wasn't always the same number or ID so I got suckered into answering. I wonder if anyone else has had this experience. A bit off topic but this nonsense turns me, at least, into disliking police more and tending to not giving them the benefit of the doubt.
It is an annoying shake down. More of that money goes to overhead anyway. I block their number after I say "no" and hang up before they get going with their b.s.
Pretty scary when the police are going along with Nazis.....
As they do here..
@Charlene Sadly, it does seem like that. It has gotten worse over the last 20 years.
