While the Russians may have drawn down forces, they left equipment in place. Troops can be moved quickly, equipment not so much. So, while the Russian troops may leave, their equipment remains a serious threat.

Fascism is strong in Ukraine. The US supported a coup against a democratic government with the help of these fascists. Since the end of the cold war, the US has been encircling Russia with hostile countries.

Ukraine needs to recognize the rights of its Russian speaking citizens and quit being a pawn of the imperialist West.
