That would have been a spectacularly unsuccessful rebellion then, ending in the ending of slavery four years after it was abolished throughout the British Empire. Fortunately, it didn't happen that way.
Slavery hadn't ended throughout the empire. This was part of the Baptist War, and a slave rebellion did occur. It only lasted a little over a month.

Slavery still exists in some outlawed areas and not bothered by the established government like, Madagascar and Saudi Arabia.
