The obscenely rich are a protected class, and that is a major part of the problem with our culture. In a way, Trump's demonstration of how wealth protects power sows the seeds of outrage. I wish I could see real justice...

As I stated, the "protected class" can't be open about it. The protection has to happen relatively quietly.
"Protcted class" huh. In the back rooms and in some judges' private chambers there probably is a "protected class," one that is only protected when it stays hidden.

What is the protected class definition?
Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 has had a large impact on how courts determine which groups are protected under employment discrimination laws.
The law prohibits discrimination against members of protected classes in public workplaces and educational institutions. Under the Civil Rights Act, employers and schools may not discriminate against people because of the following:
- Pregnancy
- Age
- Ethnicity
- National origin
- Sex
- Religion
- Race.
